In this article, we present a summary of our recent study [1], in which we assessed eye movement behavior as a function of expertise during reading of
abdominal computed tomography (CT) studies. We show that expertise in CT reading is characterized by enhanced perceptual processes and greater adaptivity
in eye movement patterns in response to the demands of the task and environment
