The King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center in Riyadh, has selected the medical imaging IT company Sectra as its provider of a complete IT solution for the management of radiology images and patient information. The aim is to increase the availability of images and patient information throughout the hospital, thereby improving patient care. With facilities located in the capital city of Riyadh and the coastal city of Jeddah, the King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center (KFSHRC) is the Saudi national referral center for oncology, organ transplants, cardiac surgery, genetic diseases and many other disciplines.
The hospital’s radiology department currently performs more than 200,000 radiology examinations each year. “We are very honored that we have been selected to provide our solutions to such a reputable and high-quality hospital as the King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center.
