New Dynamic Digital Radiography (DDR) launched by Konica Minolta at ECR 2023 could be a game changer in clinical practice, Sharon Zollo product manager DDR Technology at Konica Minolta, told DI Europe.
‘With DDR, we’re able to capture the anatomical movement of the structures and incorporate functional into anatomical information,’ she said. ‘This will open the door to a lot of clinical applications and can be done easily, using a new flat panel detector with sequential x-ray pulse that captures this high resolution and low dose imaging.’
This technology will notably allow to increase diagnostic capabilities in the intensive care unit, emergency department or operating rooms, she concluded.
