DI Europe caught up with Jens Nikelski, Director Global Sales Contrast Media Injectors at Ulrich Medical, as the company launched its contrast media injector CT motion Spicy at ECR 2023.
The injector presents new software and hardware functions enabling faster and more efficient work, according to Nikelski.
‘Hardware changes include a large container, so you have an increased volume, capable of containing two litres of contrast and two litres of saline compartments,’ he said. ‘That really enables to save time during the procedures.’
Another major invention with the system is the CDadapt function that allows for automatic adjustment of density of contrast media. ‘That’s really a big improvement, especially for cardiac procedures,’ he explained.
