Canon Medical Systems launched the Aquilion Serve CT scanner at ECR2023.
Henk de Vries, senior product manager for CT, explained how the new system enables users to get the same results independently from the patient to be examined or the operator behind the machine.
‘On the scanner, we can do automatic positioning using two cameras with lateral movement to get the patient into the real ISO center, and reposition him or her for the scan and the rest of the procedures,’ he told DI Europe.
The device enables faster workflow, as a complete solution, he added.
