Shortly before ECR 2023, Signify Research published ten predictions of what delegates would find at the meeting, which took place on March 1-5 in Vienna, Austria.
One accurate prediction was sustainability, Bhvita Jani, Research Manager at Signify Research, told DI Europe. ‘In MRI and CT, vendors are claiming that by using certain power save modes, 40 to 50% of energy reduction can happen per scan.’
Protocol management was another big trend at ECR 2023, with companies sharing strategies to protect and help the workforce, she added.
AI proved once again to be a central theme, with many new solutions to boost workflow across all modalities.
