Invasive coronary angiography (ICA) remains the gold standard for the diagnosis of coronary artery disease (CAD), and is recommended in patients
with a higher probability of significant CAD, and who are potential candidates for further invasive therapies. Coronary computed tomography angiography (coroanry CTA) has recently been gaining momentum as a noninvasive and effective tool for ruling out obstructive CAD and is
recommended in patients with a lower probability of CAD.
