In this article, we review briefly the literature to date regarding the relative merits of Contrast Enhanced Spectral Mammography (CESM) and
Contrast Enhanced Magnetic Resonance Imaging (CEMRI) for the local staging of breast cancer.
We also present the key findings of our recent study in which we evaluated the experiences of patients who underwent both CESM and
CEMRI. We found that patients expressed a strong preference for CESM over CEMRI.
