Ziehm imaging, the manufacturer of C-Arm systems has introduced SmartDose, a comprehensive concept to reduce dose and lower radiation exposure while guaranteeing high quality intraoperative imaging. A variety of different features – including low dose mode, pulsed generator technology, virtual collimators and laser positioning – allow lowering the dose in daily clinical routine when using Ziehm Imaging C-arm. The new highlight feature for dose reduction, namely ZAIP (Ziehm Adaptive Image Processing), enhances edges and optimizes doses for all C-arms with flat-panel detector, resulting in outstanding X-ray images in the OR.
